The Cesky Terrier is a small terrier type dog originating in Czechoslovakia. Wary of strangers and protective of loved ones, they’re good watchdogs without being particularly yappy. They train well and want to please. This breed is found in two colors, blue-gray and light coffee brown, both of which look darker at birth. Bred originally for hunting purposes, the Cesky Terrier is an obedient, calm and smart breed. They are an active breed and like most terriers, love to dig. The Cesky’s alert nature, wariness toward strangers, and deep, loud bark make him an excellent watchdog.
