Rottweilers as dogs were originally bred to drive cattle to market and then the dogs were used to pull carts of butchers, the dogs have become popular due to their big rough appearance and warmth.

  • Easy to train
  • require much grooming

Cons

  • It may be difficult to convince
  • A Rottie needs a lot of exercise
  • Their coat may be short but it does shed a fair amount.
