The Redbone Coonhound is medium-to-large an American breed of dog. The coat is short and smooth, but coarse enough to provide protection. They make good companions, being friendly and loyal, and they have a talent for providing comic relief. They are active when on the hunt, but quiet inside. This can make them a little tricky to handle around other animals, but properly socialized, this should not be a problem.
