The Pharaoh Hound is a Maltese breed of dog. It is traditionally used for hunting rabbit in the Maltese Islands. Pharaoh Hounds are intensely curious and intensely inventive. It is sensitive, loving, gentle and good with children and other dogs, but it may chase strange animals. The Pharaoh Hound also combines incredible power, speed, and grace to dart nimbly across rocky ground and walls.
