The Norwich Terrier is a breed of dog originating in the United Kingdom. The double coat has a hard, wiry and straight outer coat that lies close to the body and is thicker around the mane for protection. Norwiches are toy-sized but are not satin-pillow dogs they were originally bred as tough and fearless ratters. Their trainability and generally even temperament makes them a good choice for first time dog owners.
