The Havanese dog breed is the national dog of Cuba. The Havanese is considered an ideal family pet and a true companion dog. Havanese are also excellent watchdogs and take the job seriously, but will usually keep the barking to a minimum. Ease of training, and quick wit combine to make the Havanese a joyful companion. He’s wonderful with children and is good at obedience and agility.
