The Giant Schnauzer is a working breed of dog developed in Germany. Its body is strong, compact and nearly square, combining great power with agility. It is bold and protective of its family and reserved with strangers. It may be aggressive toward other dogs. Giant Schnauzers are energetic and athletic, and they enjoy long walks, jogging, and hiking on leash.
